We present an original 1966 Fender Princeton Reverb amplifier blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.

The blackface Fender Princeton Reverb is one of the crown jewels of mid-’60s combo amps. This classic amp added a tube-driven reverb circuit to the popular Princeton student combo, and has been among the most widely used recording amps since its introduction in 1964

The original Jensen C10NS is dated 40th week of 1965, which lines up perfectly to the amp stamps and the reverb driver. Output transformer is dated 3th week 1966 and the Reverb tranformer is dated 1th week 1966. This great Brown /Gold Jensen speaker was a factory option in 1966 and 1967. Amazing speaker!

The amp is definitely great condition category as far as the cosmetics are concerned.  The metal on the chassis and elsewhere still sports its original factory shine with very little patina.  The grill cloth is exceptionally is also in great shape with some nicks and dings.  The tolex is also in exceptionally fine condition with no significant wear and tear.

The circuit itself is perfect and is serviced with  some new capacitors, tubes and resistors so it can run perfectly. It’s also updated with a new 3- prong cable power transformer so it can run 230 volt.

All channels work and sound incredible!

The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number.

Freshly, and full serviced and it is ready to be played.
