1957 Fender Stratocaster – Sunburst
We present an exceptional Fender Stratocaster pre-CBS. This guitar is an all original 1957 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is a mid 1957 Strat and overall it’s in great condition with no breaks or any repairs. Lightweight alder body with only 3.36 kilograms. So much response, resonance and sustain in this guitar. Few spots of play wear around the neck and belt buckle wear on the back that gives this Stratocaster a cool mojo look. Beautiful flamed V-profile neck and the original frets and nut have plenty of life left. The headstock has a cigaret burn mark on the corner. Otherwise, the headstock is clean and beautiful flamed.
The three original single-coil Black Bottom pickups are well balanced with a great output. The 6x original Kluson single-line tuners turns perfectly and the original single layer pickguard has no breaks. The Fender Stratocaster bridge with 6x “Pat.nr.stamped” steel-saddles is also in perfect working order. Just a stunning and rare pre-CBS Stratocaster that comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Even comes complete with its original Hardshell Tweed case with red plush lining. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
