Taylor Guitars is a renowned manufacturer of high quality American acoustic guitars. Whether you’re a beginner trying to learn the ropes or a skilled guitarist looking for your new 6-stringed life companion, there’s an acoustic Taylor guitar perfect for your needs.

With specialty in acoustic guitars, Taylor Guitars have honed their skills in making premium acoustic guitars in a wide variety of price ranges. From the affordable yet comfortable Academy 12e to the acoustic-electric powerhouse of a guitar that is the 814ce, Taylor Guitars has got you covered.

Amp up your acoustic performance

Acoustic doesn’t necessarily mean non-electric. Whether you’re playing gigs or noodling around the fretboard in the comfort of your own home, your acoustic guitar needs proper support to sound the best.

Of course, there’s a difference between using an amp to add some warmth to your sound and seeking to amplify your acoustic guitar enough to match the level of an aggressive drummer and a thick bass guitar.

Luckily, there are amplifiers for all needs, and if you’re playing in a small band or just enjoying yourself at home, one of these beautiful and versatile Acus amplifiers should do the trick.

Used acoustic Taylor guitars

Are you on the hunt for a top quality guitar but don’t have quite the financial means to purchase the preferred model from new? Oftentimes, looking up used guitars is a great way of getting your hands on an exquisite instrument without blowing your budget.

If you don’t already know what you’re looking for, having a look at our selection of used acoustic guitars is a great way to spark the imagination.

Perhaps you’re considering selling your guitar? As for acoustics, we predominantly buy and sell Taylor, Gibson, and Martin guitars, but whether we’re talking guitar, bass, or amplifier, we’re always looking to add to our inventory.

Looking for something else?

If an American made premium acoustic guitar with a bit of extra spice is what you’re looking for, our wide selection of Gibson acoustics should be the right place to check out.

Gibson is known all over the world for its outstanding quality and amazing playability, and here at Guitar Hunter, we pride ourselves on providing guitarists with the best Gibson guitars out there.

We have all the popular models including J-45s, Hummingbirds, and SJ-200s to name a few, and whether you prefer rosewood, mahogany, or walnut, we should be able to find a Gibson that suits your every need.

The story of Taylor Guitars

Headquartered in El Cajon, California, Taylor Guitars was founded in 1974 by Bob Taylor and Kurt Listug.

The two first met while working at a hippie guitar shop in San Diego called the American Dream and partnered to buy the business when owner Sam Radding announced he was selling the shop.

Though young when they started (Bob was 19, Kurt was 21), their shared passion for guitar making, along with their gritty resolve to make a living doing what they loved, nurtured the company’s gradual transformation from a struggling shop into the leading global manufacturer of premium acoustic guitars.
