Description & Specifications

1958 Fender Champ Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel

We present an original 1958 Fender Champ Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.

This beauty is simple, elegant, and clean enough to satisfy both collectors and serious players. It is in very clean condition and still has the original music store nametag from Erie, Pennsylvania on the back.

This vintage Fender Champ features its original lacquered tweed covering and the iconic 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much purer than the Champ — this studio favourite delivers incredibly dynamic and glassy tube tone, going from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a simple twist of its single knob. The amp has been well cared for over the decades and retains its original 8″ speaker. The circuit is completely clean, and both transformers are original. It comes with a new 3-prong power cable.

Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in excellent condition. The tweed remains particularly clean with uniform aging, featuring the original nailed-in feet and even the original leather handle.

To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
