1953 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5C3 – Wide Panel
We present an original 1953 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5C3 – Wide Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This iconic 1×12” tube amp delivers magical tone and vintage mojo. There’s nothing like a Tweed Deluxe with the volume turned all the way up. The amp sounds excellent, with a pure and immediate clean tone, and a crunchy, compressed breakup when pushed. This 1953 Fender Deluxe Amp is in exceptionally good condition for its age. There is some cosmetic wear, but the cabinet is structurally sound and original.
A new prong cord, a few tubes, capacitors, resistors, and the handle have been replaced. The original 12″ 1953 Jensen P12R Alnico speaker sounds amazing.
A step-down transformer (to run on 230 volts) has been added to keep the amp as original as possible.
This amplifier has been serviced with new tubes, tube shield, prong cord, speaker jack, a few capacitors, and some resistors, so it runs perfectly.
The original tube chart is present, very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
