1962 Fender Deluxe Amplifier 6G3 – Brownface
We present an original 1962 Fender Deluxe amplifier 6G3 – brownface. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is one of the most celebrated guitar amplifiers ever produced, and it sounds incredible. The six-knob layout includes normal and bright channels, the latter featuring tremolo speed and intensity controls. All-original gleaming brown tolex covering, grille cloth, and knobs. The amplifier has been maintained in remarkably pristine condition and sounds equally amazing. Fender tilt-back legs have been added.
A few capacitors and resistors have been replaced to keep the amp quiet and running smoothly. The original speaker has been reconed to ensure optimal sound. As with many vintage amps, the leather handle was broken, so a new reproduction leather handle has been installed (the original is included). Both transformers are stock and completely original.
The original tube chart is present and very clean, with crisp corners.
Freshly and fully serviced, and complete with a full vintage NOS tube set.
To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer is required. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
