1962 Fender Princeton Amp 6G2 – Brownface
We present an original 1962 Fender Princeton Amplifier 6G2 – Brownface. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is one of the best-sounding and best-looking transitional Princeton amps you’re likely to find. It has just been serviced with a few new high-quality capacitors, resistors, a newer leather handle, light jewel, and a new 3-prong power cable — so it runs perfectly. The original parts that were replaced are included. The original Oxford CTS 10″ speaker is in perfect condition. This amp delivers a pure, sweet tone for days and is incredibly versatile, even without on-board reverb. This Fender Princeton is in stunning condition, retaining its original tolex, faceplate, and grill cloth. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a cleaner vintage Princeton than this one.
The original tube chart is also present — very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
The amp is fully serviced and ready to play.
To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
