1967 Fender Pro Reverb Amp – Blackface
We present an original 1967 Fender Pro Reverb amplifier blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.
The 1967 Fender Pro Reverb has skyrocketed in popularity over the years, though it took a while to get there. Considered “too weak” for the mid-1960s market, today they’re beloved for their signature blackface sound and breakup at much more manageable volumes than a Twin Reverb or the piggyback amps.
Standing in at 40 watts with two 12″ speakers, the Pro Reverb is essentially a dialed-back Twin — smaller transformers, half the power tubes and a tube rectifier produce a saggier sound that drives much earlier. This fantastic stage amp has seen a renaissance over the last couple decades and has become a wildly popular stage amp for bands touring mid-sized clubs.
All transformers and essential components are original. This Fender Pro Reverb amplifier is in excellent + condition that is serviced with new capacitors, resistors and a new three pronged cable so it can run perfectly. Original Jensen speakers are in great shape and sound fantastic. Just a super clean example!
The amp is fully serviced and ready to be played.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter. https://guitarhunter.dk/product/toroidy-ats300va-stepdown-converter-230-110v/
