1955 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5D1 – Wide Panel
We present an original 1955 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5D1 – Wide Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
Overall, this Fender amplifier is in excellent condition with minimal typical cosmetic wear. This Fender Champ Amp has been well cared for over the decades and is equipped with NOS tubes. The original Oxford 6″ speaker is in perfect working order and sounds fantastic. This original speaker is a very rare model that was only produced for a short period.
The circuit has just been serviced with a few new capacitors, resistors, and a 2-prong power cord, ensuring optimal performance. Otherwise, all parts are original to this amplifier, including the transformers.
The amp is fully serviced and ready to be played.
To keep it as original as possible, you will need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
