We present an original 1963 Fender Deluxe amplifier 6G3 – brownface. Made in Fullerton, California.

This Fender Deluxe amplifier is a super clean example of this classic early ’60s Fender. This amp is in very fine original condition with relatively little wear anywhere.  All major components remain original. The original Oxford speaker is in perfect working and sounds great. There is some minor scuffing to the tolex, light corrosion to the cabinet straps and handle mounts but overall the amp shows very little notable wear.

Internally the amp has had typical light servicing with a 3-prong grounded cord added, a light cap job and cleaned tube sockets. The tubes fitted are: Rectifier Amperex 5AR4, power tubes Sovtek 6V6’s, V-3 and V-2 are old RCA 12AX7, V1 is a Fender branded 12AX7. This is a superb example of this great-sounding Fender, far better preserved than most. Loud enough for most modern gigging situations but small enough for recording purposes, the brown Deluxe has a real signature sound with a smooth overdrive curve suitable to many applications. One of the shop favorites here, and about the nicest we have had. Overall, this amplifier is in excellent+ condition.
