We present an all original and 100% complete 1964 Fender Precision bass in its original Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
The playability is so excellent on this Fender pre-CBS Precision bass. A rare lightweight example and it’s extremely resonant. As you can see, it has a lot of good honest/mojo wear from years of playing and recording. The original frets are flawless and have plenty of life left. A beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with clay dots on this very comfortable neck. Overall, it’s in great original shape with nicks, dings and finish checking. Even comes complete with original bridge and pickup cover.
This Fender Custom Color Precision lives up to its “holy grail” bass status, with solid intonation and a feel that that you want on a bass.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender black non-logo tolex hardshell case (one broken latch)
- Neck date: July 1964.
- Pots dated: 26th Week Of 1964.
- Pickup: 11.7 kOhm.
