1968 Fender Deluxe Reverb – Silverface
We present an original 1968 Fender Deluxe Reverb Silverface. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Deluxe Reverb still has the blackface circuit. The amplifier delivers the shimmering, balanced clean tone that has made these amps a mainstay in studios and on stages for decades. The amplifier has a clear and dynamic sound, delivering sparkling cleans that are a great effects pedal platform. Cascading into rich, lightly compressed crunch as you push the volume to 10. The Reverb is very lush with a long decay
The preamp is loaded with the original blue Ajax molded capacitors, a key ingredient in the dynamic, musical tone of amps. The original Fender Oxford 12″ has been reconed and it comes with a clean blue Fender label on the alnico magnet and a frame that shows little wear. The original circuit has just been serviced with few new filter capacitors, resistors so it can run perfectly. Also a new 3-prong cable has been installed.
Cosmetically, the amp is very clean with stock smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth. The tolex is remarkably clean, with the only wear of note on the bottom front edge of the enclosure. All of the original hardware is present including the chassis straps, handle caps. The original faceplate also shows sparingly little wear with bold graphics and stock witch hat knobs.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter. https://guitarhunter.dk/product/toroidy-ats300va-stepdown-converter-230-110v/
The original tube chart is present as well and very clean.
