We present an all original 1968 Melody Maker D in its original and rare Sparkling Burgundy finish.
This gorgeous piece is acclaimed by players, teachers and students for its fine sound, big tone, sensitive pickup, feather-light touch. The Guitar is in great shape with only some dings and other cosmetic wear. A great solid body electric guitar with full sized neck and scale length. Super nice playing guitar and it looks STUNNING in its rare Sparkling Burgundy finish. The SG style Melody Maker has a comfortable neck with rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Two great sounding single coils pickups, Gibson Hat Knobs, and a “Maestro” Tremolo tailpiece.
Comes complete with its original chipboard case, coil cable and strap.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
