1955 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5E3 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1955 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5E3 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Tweed amplifier is favoured among collectors and players alike. It is absolutely one of my favourite Fender circuits of all time. The 5E3 Deluxe is one of the most coveted Fender amps of the 1950s. This amplifier delivers the unmistakable breakup we’ve all come to love from vintage Tweeds. Overall, the circuit looks excellent, and the transformers are original.
The chassis is clean, as is the chrome control plate. The original white lettering remains intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact, paired with a newer handle. The original alnico Jensen P12R 12″ speaker has been reconed, so it sounds perfect. The original lacquered Tweed shows light ambering, with some minor scuffs and other cosmetic wear. The original oxblood grill cloth is tight. The original tube chart is also present and very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
The amp is fully serviced and ready to play.
To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer is required. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
