1959 Fender Jazzmaster – Blond
We present an all original 1959 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Blond finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Custom Color pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is all original and it even comes complete with its original bridge cover, and tremolo arm. You also get an original 50’s Fender polish cloth and original strap. This guitar is feauterd in the book; Fender The Golden Age.
Cosmetically, this guitar shows some “belt buckle rash” on the back and nicks and dings on the front and sides, with a few spots of notable wear down to the bare ash and an assortment of small nicks and scratches to the back of the guitar. The thin neck profile and headstock face are clean as it can be. Chasing improved intonation, although the stock bridge position intonate perfectly.
Acoustically, the guitar has a very authoritative sound that translates well through the two original black bobbin pickups. Able to deliver everything from sparkle and twang in the bridge position to wooly and complex tones at the neck, this Jazzmaster boasts a distinct and usable tone in every position. This Jazzmaster is powerful, resonant and extremely versatile, this is everything you’d expect from a guitar produced in the Fender’s golden age periode.
The original tweed case is the coolest case we ever have seen. A lot of travel-stickers on the case which tells that this beauty/Killer – Jazzmaster has been around the world. This guitar is so amazing and a super rare piece of history as well as a top collector piece and top notch player!
Pickups and Electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
