1960 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1960 Fender Vibrolux amplifier Tweed 5F11 Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Vibrolux delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, rich harmonics, and excellent tonal clarity. The amp remains clean with just the right amount of overdrive and a tight bass response — remarkable for an amp featuring the original Jensen P10R 10″ speaker.
The tremolo is bias-based, meaning it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls. It produces a strong, smooth waveform with a pronounced pulse and a satisfying amount of intensity and chop.
The chassis is clean, as is the chrome control plate. The original white lettering remains intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The original metal handle ends are present, as is the original handle. A new grounded power cord has been installed. The original alnico Jensen P10R 10″ speaker has been professionally reconed and sounds perfect. The original lacquered tweed covering and handle are intact, showing light ambering along with minor scuffs and general cosmetic wear. The original oxblood grille cloth is tight and well-preserved.
The original tube chart is present, very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
