1965 Gibson ES-125T – Sunburst
We present an all original 1965 Gibson ES-125T in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this 1965 Gibson ES-125T model is in very good condition. It has nicks, dings and other cosmetic play-wear and the 1-piece mahogany neck has a mark on it after lying on a strap in the case. It’s an early 1965 since it still has the 1-11/16 width at nut. Gorgeous Sunburst finish and it’s genius all the way around with bound top and back with cream binding. Strap button added on the side.
This Gibson ES model produces warm, jazzy/blues like clean tones with the famous Gibson P-90’s pickup. It’s a particular example with low action that gives an easy playing all the way down the neck. The original frets have still plenty of life left including nylon nut.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
