Description & Specifications

1966 Fender Champ Amp – Blackface

We present an original 1966 Fender Champ Amp – Blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.

This Blackface Fender Champ amplifier is surprisingly loud and delivers just the right amount of glassy, sparkling, and clean tone. Overall, it’s an ideal example of the classic Blackface sound — sure to delight both discerning collectors and serious players.

The circuit is very original, with only a few capacitors and resistors replaced to ensure perfect functionality. Both transformers are original. The original speaker is a Fender Oxford 8″ featuring a clean blue Fender label on the Alnico magnet and a frame that shows virtually no wear.

The amp is fully serviced and ready to play.

To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
