1975 Gretsch 7620 Country Roc Western – Orange

We present an all original and 100% complete 1975 Gretsch 7620 Country Roc Western – Orange. Made in USA.

This incredible rare guitar was introduced back in 1974 and was only in production in a very short periode between 1974 and 1975. The stand-out features of this rare guitar is of course the beautiful western fretboard inlays, the tooled leather siding of the guitar and the “G”-brand. Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good+ condition, with minor nicks, dings and other play-wear, just straight up with no modifications, breaks or any repairs. The orange stain still looks terrific with some beautiful checking on the top.

It features a chambered mahogany body and 2-piece mahogany neck with a beautiful ebony fretboard. The scale length of this guitar is 24.5″ with 22 jumbo frets and a 14″ fretboard radius. The frets are in great condition with a lot of life left in them.

The original SuperTron humbuckers sound absolutely fantastic and are well-balanced. The CTS pots are dated the 44th week of 1974.

Of course you can’t mention the Country Roc Western without mentioning the amazingly cool Belt buckle tailpiece that this guitar features. It still looks fantastic after almost 50 years. It features the original adjustable bridge and original Gretsch tuners, which are still in great shape and turns nicely, along with the original plastic nut and zero fret.

Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes complete with its original hardshell case. The case is in rough condition but in perfect working order .
