1983 Martin DC-28 150th Anniversary – Natural
We present an original 1983 C.F. Martin DC-28 Natural 150th Anniversary. Made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
The serial number 436282 indicate 1981, but it’s a 150th Anniversary that leads to 1983. The C.F. Martin DC-28 was designed, primarily, for acoustic jazz, rock or blues guitarists who often play in the upper fretboard positions. The cutaway upper bout allows easy access to those frets above the 14th position. This acoustic guitar is an actual D-28 but with a cutaway and oval soundhole. C.F. Martin made few of this model which makes this a pretty rare guitar. Beautiful figured rosewood back and sides. Original C.F. Martin IV signature is inside the guitar.
Overall, this guitar is in excellent shape with very few dings, scratches on the back. No breaks or any repairs. Just a structurally solid acoustic guitar that plays and sounds wonderful. There is installed a pickup system.
Even comes complete with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
