We present an original 1957 Fender Vibrolux Amp tweed 5F11 Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This amp delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The amp stays clean with just the right amount of overdrive and very tight bass response for an amp with the original Jensen P10R” speaker. The tremolo is bias based, meaning that it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and has a nice strong pulse to it, with its smooth waveform that has a good amount of intensity and chop on tap.
The chassis is clean and also the chrome control plate. Original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact along with a newer handle. A modern 3-prong grounded cord added, and death cap removal. It’s fully serviced with new caps resistors so it can run perfectly ( the original caps and replaced resistors are included) The original alnico Jensen P10R 10″ speaker is reconed with a very clean green/blue frame, original bell cover, and clean Jensen label. The original lacquered tweed is intact, showing light ambering and some minor scuffs and wear, primarily on the lower left corner of the enclosure and bottom of the amp. The original Oxblood grillcloth is tight. Stocked with vintage RCA & GE tubes. Even comes complete with its original and rare wooden footswitch.
The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number.
