Description

I present an original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Firemist Gold finish. This piece is so amazing and a rare piece of history as well as a top collector piece and notch player! This is one of the most rarest custom color you can come across and Fender introduced officially this color in 1965.

This Jazzmaster is 100% all original and it even comes complete with its original-periode correct bridge cover and periode original tremolo arm.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows only few nicks and dings on the front and sides, with a few spot and an assortment of small nicks and scratches to the back of the guitar.

The neck profile and headstock face are clean as it can be. Chasing improved intonation, although the stock bridge position intonate perfectly. The gray Bobbins pickups is very strong and very balanced.

The guitar is powerful, resonant and extremely versatile, this is everything you’d like and it has a great/strong/big C-shape neck profile with dots and bindings.

Acoustically, the guitar is able to deliver everything from sparkle and twang in the bridge position to woody and complex tones at the neck. This jazzmaster boasts a distinct and usable tone in every position. Flip a switch( tip replaced to a periode correct) to the oft disregarded (and infinitely cool) rhythm circuit and you have a whole new palette of dark voicing’s meant to appeal to the “Jazz” player that never really got on with this instrument, but a tonal range that really loves a heavily overdriven tube amp.

All pickups and the electronics/wiring are untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original hardshell case.
