1956 Fender Deluxe Tweed 5E3 Narrow Panel
We present an original 1956 Fender Deluxe Tweed 5E3 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This amplifier is in great shape with its original tweed covering. The Fender Deluxe 5E3 has been a favourite of guitar players for decades. Up to about “3” on the volume knob, it produces some of the loveliest clean tones imaginable. Once you start moving it towards and past noon, the famous crunchy tweed overdrive kicks in and brings you to rock ’n’ roll heaven. The faceplate on the chassis is still very clean with very little pitting.
Nearly all the original white lettering is clearly intact and visible. The amp’s wonderful tone comes through clearly in the original Jensen alnico speaker, which sounds great. The speaker has been reconed, and the circuit is fully serviced with new caps and resistors, so it sounds perfect. A newer fuse holder is installed, but the original is included. The power and output transformers are original as well.
To keep it as original as possible, you need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
The original tube chart is present as well and very clean, with crisp corners.
