We present an original 1956 Fender Pro tweed 5E5-B – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This example “Pro-Amp” is one of the most powerful amplifiers of the mid 50’s. The tone is deep and lush tone is unlike any other amp from this period, and shades into a massive roar when pushed into overdrive. Overall, this Fender amplifier is graded to near mint condition. Stock with its original 15″ Jensen speaker. This one was wired up by Lupe in March 1956. Her masking tape tag is still intact and the tube chart stamp is clean as well. Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in super clean shape. The tweed looks particularly clean condition, with original nailed in feet and even the original leather handle. The chrome control plate is clean and the graphics are perfect intact. Both transformers are original.
The original filter caps are perfect include the yellow astron’s. Overall, just are perfect clean circuit with vintage big-bottle RCA tubes with 1956 date codes. Newer 2 prong power cable installed.
