We present an all original and 100% complete 1970 Gibson ES-150 D in Walnut finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Gibson ES-150 D was similar to the popular ES-335 TD in many ways, but with a thicker body front to back. This semi hollow body used maple for its body with a mahogany neck. They year of produktion was from 1969 – 1979.
Overall, this guitar is in near mint condition with minor wear. The original Walnut finish as has not faded at all and reveals the nice grain of the maple body, almost no visible play wear. The original frets are still in perfect shape with plenty of life left. It feature two Gibson “Pat.Nr.” humbucker pickups an they are well balanced outputs and sound great in that guitar. Mastervolume on the lower cutaway. Laminated 3 doublecutaway maplebody, mahagony neck without volute an bound rosewood fretboard w./blockmarker inlays. The 6 x Kluson/Gibson doubleline tuners are in perfect shape and works perfect. All chrome hardware include the original trapez tailpiece are like new. Just a stunning clean semi hollow body that sounds fantastic.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case. Latches are in perfect working order but with a newer handle.
