1960 Gibson J-45 in Sunburst
We present an original 1960 Gibson J-45 in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This well-played Gibson flat-top from 1960 is an example of a great year of a J-45 with original round-shouldered design. This Gibson J-45 guitar shows play-wear to the top from enthusiastic strumming, but remains nicely original and in great condition.
The rim of the sound hole is perfect and there is pick wear down above the fingerboard, above the strings behind the sound hole. Only one common crack close to the celluloid pickguard because of shrunken pickguard. Otherwise, crackfree 1960 Gibson J-45 and its all original except for brand new bridge, bridge saddle and frets.
The back of the neck is great with some dings and dents with some typical checking. It features mahogany back and sides, spruce top and 1-piece mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case with a newer handle.
All work done by a professionel luthier.
- Strap button installed on the heel.
- Newer frets.
- New bone saddle.
- New handcrafted bridge.
