1962 Fender Concert Amp 6G12-A- Brownface
We present a stunning and all original 1962 Fender Concert Amp 6G12-A – Brownface. Made in Fullerton, California.
This historical amplifier is definitely one of the finest examples out there, and more impressive is it, that this amp is all original and untouched. Just like it left Leo Fender’s Fullerton factory back in 1962.
Condition
Overall this amplifier is in excellent condition. The original brown tolex is pristine with minimal signs of wear. The face plate is as clean as can be, where all the writing is clearly visible and have barely faded at all. The brown grill cloth is in stunning condition with few spots wear but overall pretty clean.
Originality
This amplifier features the original 6G12-A circuit and sounds amazing. It’s completely untouched, meaning that all the transformers, resistors and capacitors are original to this amplifier, nothing has been changed! It features the 4 original gold frame Fender 10″ Oxford 10K5 speakers. Even the 2-prong cord is original.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter: Toroidy Step-Down Transformer 230V/110V – 200VA
