We present an all original 1974 Gibson ES-335 TD in Black finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this Gibson ES-335 is in pristine condition. Very few nicks, dings and other cosmetic play wear. Also the hardware and the trapeze tailpiece is in excellent shape.
This Gibson model is super rare to come by in Black finish. If you’re looking for a pristine example of an early 70’s ES-335 in Black, this is one of the best available. This Gibson hollow body features double ring Kluson tuners, “witch hat” knobs and two original “Tarback” pickups, that deliver the classic Gibson semi hollow tone for which these are known for. The 3-piece mahogany neck is nice and the frets are in excellent shape. The setup on this piece has a low action so it play like a dream and sounds like a dream.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case with pink lining. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
