We present an original 1977 Guild F212XL-NT 12 string Jumbo acoustic guitar in excellent condition and it’s in perfect working order.

This flat-top is complete with a Barcus Berry preamp. Overall, this  jumbo 12 string acoustic has aged beautifully. It has solid spruce top, mahogany body and neck, and a slab ebony fretboard and ebony bridge. The quality and tone of this instrument is truly incredible projection, sweetness, and chime. The ebony emphasizes the quintessential shimmer and jangle of the paired octave design, while the jumbo body tonewoods offer a strong balanced voice with an exceptional dynamic range. The guitar’s smooth playability and expert craftsmanship have made it one of the most sought-after twelve string workhorses available.

The mahogany neck has a full D-shaped profile with good shoulder, measuring. On the headstock, the Guild name and Chesterfield are inlaid in pearl, and the headstock is fitted with the original set of clean chrome Guild-branded Schaller tuning machines that turn very smoothly and hold pitch well.

Cosmetically, this vintage 12 string acoustic shows sparse finish checking on the top at the treble side shoulder and bass side lower bout, with faint scuffing in the pick path. There are a few expected nicks, dings, scratches in the finish and other cosmetic wear. Newer strap button has been installed in the neck heel

  • Nut Width: 1-13/16”.

Even comes complete with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle in perfect working order.
