We present an original 1955 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5E3 Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Deluxe is in great shape for its age. The Fender 5E3 Deluxe has been a favorite of guitar players for decades. Up to about “3“ on the volume knob it produces some of the loveliest clean tones imaginable. Once you start moving it towards and past noon the famous crunchy tweed overdrive kicks in and brings you to rock ‘n’ roll heaven.
This Fender Deluxe has the original tweed covering which is still intact and in very good shape. It has nicely “ambered” over the years. The faceplate on the chassis is still very clean with very little pitting. Nearly all the original white lettering is clearly intact and visible.
The original Jensen alnico speaker P12R sounds fantastic. Overall, this Fender Deluxe is in great shape and it has been serviced with a new power switch, filter caps and resistors so it can run perfectly. Newer leather handle and power cable to. The Power transformer is factory original. The output transformer is as old as the amp itself and definitely era-correct. The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number.
