1955 Fender Bassman Amp Tweed 5D6-A – Narrow Panel

We present an original 1955 Fender Bassman Amplifier tweed 5D6-A – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.

Overall, this Fender Bassman amplifier is in great original shape and sounds incredible good. It reacts well to a host of effects pedals and different guitars, but truly shines with the guitar plugged straight into the amplifier. One of the best tweed model that Fender ever made and also the most copied amplifier in the world. But this one is the real deal.

The original pots (dating to the 1954) and the circuit has been serviced with some new capacitors and resistors, NOS tubes and 3 prong cord so it can run perfectly.

All P10R Jensen alnico 10″speakers are original with a clean teal frame and Jensen sticker. The original tweed covering and grill cloth is in very good condition with good old wear that gives a perfect vintage look. The leather handle is replaced. All transformers are intact and all original.

The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners.

  • Chart date: EC – March 1955.
  • Pots date: 47th week of 1954.
  • Speaker date code: 3th week of 1955.
  • Serial number:0849
