1960 Gibson ES-175D – Blonde

This is an original and early 1960 Gibson Es-175D in Blonde (Natural). Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This piece is in insane condition and we have graded this to near mint condition. We are so lucky to offer this piece at Guitar Hunter. Extremely rare to come across in that condition and especially in Blond finish. Only 111-116 pieces where made in 1960. This is an early 1960 that has all the 59 appointments.

Even comes complete with its original matching number hang tags. Two great sounding PAF’s pickups that are well balanced for this guitar. The guitar features a beautiful 1-piece mahogany 59 neck with dark rosewood fingerboard with split Parallelogram inlays. The maple hollow-body is gorgeous shape with figured top and back.

At some point the original neck pickup cover has been off, which is quite common (sometimes people did that back then) Otherwise, the pickups and the electronics/wiring are untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes complete with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.

Professionally setup in our workshop here at Guitar Hunter.
