1964 Fender Jaguar – Sunburst
We present an all original 1964 Fender Jaguar in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This is an excellent pre-CBS Fender Jaguar that has all of the early features of this model. It features black bottom Pickups, a Tortoise pickguard and clay dots on the veneer rosewood fingerboard. It even comes complete with its original tremolo arm and bridge cover.
There is so much resonance in this instrument when you strike your first chord, and that dynamic, soulful quality really translates into the amplified signal. The Jaguar offers tonal options to both thicken up the sound and alternately make it even more sinewy and thin.
The maple neck has a C-shaped profile which is very slender at the nut, gaining notable shoulder and roundness as you travel up the fretboard with good chunk.
This Jaguar is grated to excellent+. It only shows few nicks and dings, and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender Non-Logo Hardshell Case.
