We present an all original and 100% complete 1964 Fender Jazz bass in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Overall, this excellent example is a true Pre-CBS Jazz bass, played-in but remaining completely well preserved over the years. It has belt buckle wear, nicks, dings and other cosmetic play wear. It features slim tapered neck, beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots.
The headstock and neck are clean with minor wear. The original Tortoise plastic pickguard is perfect with no breaks. This Fender bass is extremely resonant and a superlative player with a somewhat more low/midrange emphasis to the tone compared to many typical Jazz Basses from 1965 and beyond.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with an original no logo hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
