Description & Specifications

1967 Fender Princeton Reverb Amp – Blackface

We present an original 1967 Fender Princeton Reverb Amp – Blackface. Made in Fullerton, California.

The Blackface Fender Princeton Reverb is one of the crown jewels of mid-’60s combo amps. This classic vintage amp added a tube-driven reverb circuit to the popular Princeton student combo and has been among the most widely used recording amplifiers since its introduction in 1964. All transformers are original, including the reverb unit. The circuit itself is perfect and has been serviced with some new capacitors, resistors, and a new three-prong cable so it runs flawlessly. Comes with the original Jensen speaker and original footswitch.

The amp is definitely in the great condition category as far as cosmetics are concerned. The grill cloth is in exceptionally great and clean condition, as well as the black tolex.

To keep it as original as possible, you need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
