1968 Gibson ES-125 TDC in Sunburst

We present an all original 1968 Gibson ES-125 TDC in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

A 1968 Gibson ES-125 TDC (“TDC” means thin body, double pickups and cutaway). This Gibson is genius all the way around with bound top and back with cream binding. A great player with amazing original P-90s. Structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Overall, this Gibson ES-125 is in very clean condition with extremely minor wear.

The original frets are in perfect shape with a lot of life left. This guitar produces warm, jazzy/blues like clean tones with the famous Gibson P-90s. This particular example has excellent action, low and easy to play all the way down the neck. A strap button had also been added on the neck heel.

Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with a newer hardshell case. Latches handle are in perfect working order

  • width at nut: 1 9/16″.
  • Neck pickup:8.34 kOhm.
  • Bridge pickup: 10.7 kOhm.
  • weight: 2.5 kilograms.
