We present an all original 1963 Fender Precision bass in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
The playability is so excellent on the pre-CBS bass. A rare lightweight example and it’s extremely resonant. As you can see, it has a lot of good honest/mojo wear from years of playing and recording. The original frets are flawless and have plenty of life left. A beautiful dark veneer rosewood fingerboard with clay dots on the medium D-shape neck. Overall it’s in great original shape with nicks plus dings and finish checking. The cosmetic wear included one small tip of the pickguard cracked off, but the pickgurd tip is still there.
This Precision lives up to its “holy grail” bass status, with solid intonation and a feel that that you want on a bass.
Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Fender brown hardshell case (one broken latches)
