We present an all original 1965 Gibson ES-330 TDC in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This 330 is a early 1965 because it has 1964 specs. This slim taper cutaway guitar is in excellent plus condition with only a few nicks and dings and other cosmetic wear. The volume silver-sticker is missing on one of the volume knobs.
On the pictures you can see completely black truss rod cover on the headstock, normally it has the white line. In this case I’m pretty sure that Gibson made a mistake at the factory that day, because that happened time to time. But also because I know the pre-owner (one owner guitar).
For the record a completely original 1965 truss plate for this model is included in the case. Then we will let you to decide if you want to replace it.
The guitar is lightweight, has a thin neck, is lively sounding and is a fantastic guitar whether you play acoustically or plugged in. It’s got a great feel that makes you want to play all night long.
This historic thin line hollow body is captured in a iconic year when countless jazz, blues players were using Gibson for the tones that made them famous. Also today, the guitar is popular among us and had become a favorite all around guitar for many guitar players. This is a perfect addition to the guitar player in all of us. Amazing nickel cover P90 pickups, that takes you back to the 60’s when Gibson was making one of the most popular guitars at the Kalamazoo factory.
Pickups and the Electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
It comes along with its original Gibson hardshell case.
